Red tail Catfish are top predators… eating anything that can fit in their mouths. If they can not swallow it they are peaceful towards the other fish. We feed ours on frozen bloodworms, flake,pellet and other types of meaty foods including shrimp krill, raw fish etc. We don’t feed them live fish to help keep down their aggression. Reaching 4 feet plus as adults, they need a Large tank.
